You will meet an axe throwing coach upon arrival. We will go over safety rules and guidelines (check ‘em out at Papa Docs House Rules) 

We are excited to offer projected targets for all of our lanes. Targets and games will be projected onto the wood surface. With options like Zombie Hunters, Rotating Targets, and Tic-Tac-Toe, axe throwing has never been more exciting! You can even keep score with a simple click of a mouse. Your axe throwing coach will show you how to use the software to make the most of your time with us!

Due to the growing popularity of this activity, we highly recommend you book online! 

For the health and safety of all our customers, all throwers must be 12 years old.
For throwers ages 12-17, waivers will need to be signed by parent/guardian before throwing.

Groups with minors need to be supervised by an adult for the duration of their throwing time. Supervising adults must be 25 years old.

Youth ages 12-17 cost their age per hour! So a 14 year old is $14/hour to throw! With any full priced adult on the lane! 

We sell domestic beers and a variety of soda and sparkling water to quench your thirst. You are welcomed to bring in your own snacks to have while throwing. 

We are just a few blocks away from some great restaurants/bars in downtown Janesville. We hope you’ll fuel up or wind down with one of Janesville’s many great options.

We recommend 6 per lane to optimize everyone’s time.

We would love to have your large group come throw with us! During business hours, we can accommodate groups of up to 20 throwers. We will need some advanced notice to keep your group together so please call to schedule this!

You sure can! We’d love to host your private party. Venue rentals start at $300/hour with a minimum of 2 hours. Price varies depending on which day of the week and how many people you’ll have. Email us at papadocsaxe@gmail.com for more information.

February 2024 we introduced our mobile axe throwing unit. This unit features 2 targets and can be set up indoors or outdoors. 

Pefect for family gatherings, corporate parties, weddings, or as a way to bring some axecitement to your local business. 

This unit can be rented for $550/2 hours. Each additional hour $150/hour. 

We will bring the unit to you, set it up and provide an axe throwing coach for the duration of the rental. 

Mileage fees will be applied if your event is further than 20 miles from our downtown location.
